The AOTC Classes
are held in the Spring, in mid March, and the Fall, starting mid
September. Classes are limited to ensure that each student gets the
individual attention they need. Each class has two to three instructors,
one to do the class instruction and assisting instructors to help one-on-one on an
individual basis.
We do not train your dog... we teach YOU how to train
your dog. It is a hands-on working class in which the owner and dog
develop a bonding understanding and working relationship under the
guidance of experienced instructors. We teach with positive,
motivational methods, and the classes are structured to be upbeat and
fun for you and your dog. Classes are limited to 20 students and dogs.

The Puppy Class is for dogs ages 3 to 6 months. This 8-week

In addition to teaching basic obedience exercises, such as sit, down,

to puppies such as chewing, housebreaking, etc. during a discussion
session. We also discuss topics such as health care, dog personality
profiles, and the owner/dog relationship. The class is filled with
encouragement and learning games and prepares the dog and the owner with
a basic framework of obedience to build on and positive canine/human relationships.
This class is limited to 15 students.
