Larry
Wells
a.k.a "Cookie Man"
Larry is the dogs' favorite
instructor. Known far and wide among the canine community as "the man
with a trunk full of cookies," Larry had been a trainer and instructor
since 1987. A fan of "the All American" breeds, he has been active in
rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned dogs. Along with his wife Myra,
they share their home with several happy canine rescues as well as two
Bull Terriers. |

Myra
Wells
Myra was an obedience student with a
rambunctious Chow/Pit Bull cross when she met her future husband-to-be,
Larry. Since Larry specializes in the "tough" cases, he worked one-on-one
with Myra and "Checkers" and the rest is history.
Myra has been an assistant instructor since 1994. She
is pictured here with Bull Terrier pup "Ranger." |

Lisa
Johnson
Lisa began obedience classes
with her Parsons Russell Terrier puppy "Philo" and learned that training a
terrier was a real challenge. One puppy class, two basic adult classes and
one Novice class later, Lisa and "Philo" were ready for
competition. Says Lisa, "Each class I learned something different, more
and more the pieces started to click into place and Philo and I became
a great team."
Lisa and Philo finished their AKC-CD in April 2006, taking 1st place wins
all the way through!
She mirrored that success
in earning a UKC-CD in September 2007. Lisa began assisting with classes in 2003.
Today she is the lead instructor in the puppy class.
